Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Kirby Web Works, LLC ("we", "us") collects when you use kirbyweb.works, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it. The short version: we collect what you type into our forms so we can reply and do the work you asked about. We don't sell it, we don't run advertising trackers, and we don't set tracking cookies.
What we collect
- Contact and project details you submit. Your name, email, phone number (if you give one), website address, your message, and your answers to the short follow-up questions.
- Consultation bookings. The time slot and meeting format you choose.
- Free audit requests. The website address you enter. If you ask for the full breakdown, your name and email too.
- Basic technical data. Like almost every website, our hosting provider processes your IP address and browser details to deliver pages, block abuse, and produce aggregate traffic statistics. We don't use these to identify you.
We don't use analytics or advertising cookies. The site stores one setting in your browser, your light/dark theme choice, and it never leaves your device.
How we use it
- To reply to you, prepare an estimate or audit, and do the work you hire us for.
- To schedule consultations and send confirmations, reminders, and receipts.
- To keep records we're required to keep for tax and accounting.
- To protect the site and our forms from spam and abuse.
We'll only email you about your inquiry or project. We don't add you to a marketing list without asking.
Who processes it for us
We use a small number of service providers, each only for the job described:
- Cloudflare: hosts this website and the form endpoints, and stores form submissions.
- Google Workspace: email, our lead spreadsheet, and calendar invites and Google Meet links for consultations.
- Google PageSpeed Insights: runs the free audit. Only the website address you enter is sent.
- Autobooks, through our bank: processes the consultation booking fee and invoices. You enter your card details on their secure checkout page; we never see or store your card number.
We don't sell or rent personal information, and we don't share it with anyone else except when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry and client records for as long as we're working together and afterward as long as needed for accounting, tax, and legal purposes. If you contacted us but we never worked together, you can ask us to delete your information at any time.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you by emailing inquiries@kirbyweb.works or calling (512) 541-9550. We'll respond within 30 days. We may keep records we're legally required to retain.
Security
All traffic to this site is encrypted (HTTPS), our systems use strong authentication, and access to your information is limited to the people who need it to do your work. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, but security is the core of what we do and we treat your data accordingly.
Children
This site is for businesses. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
